so this girl asked for my number the other day, i don't really even know her, but i figured what the heck so i gave her my number.
we had previously talked through a popular networking site, but rather briefly. the other day she began text messaging me like crazy so i gave her a call. let me just say the call was pretty awkward, she kept saying how she was bored. she didn't even say much, and we couldn't keep the conversation going. then after rambling for 30 minutes about absolutely nothing she says she rather would chat on IM than talk. LOL. what was she expecting? did i do something wrong? or should have this been expected?

She probably likes you so much and she is really nervous about it! Well, nervous about how you will react to her. I know that if I really like a guy, I do a lot to get his attention but as soon as I get it I'm like OMG what do I do now! And By the way, when your on IM, you can erase what you say and you can really think about what you want to say so you don't say anything stupid. Hope you find this useful! (Girls are really messed up some times! (No affense girls cuz i am one too! LOL!))

she's obviously too immature to hold a decent conversation on the telephone. people use IM because there aren't those awkward silences and they are easier. in my opion you did nothing wrong and it was all her fault so don't even worry about it. maybe after talking to her and getting to know her more on IM you might be able to talk to her on the phone and have a decent conversation. hope i helped!!

no you didnt do anything wrong. but im deff guilty of liking to IM better thatn talk. idont know why. its just how it is. it just seems a little more relaxed. just IM her for a while things will start to loosen up. then try giving her a call.

She's just not a phone person. She's probably too shy to actually talk to you, so she'd rather "write" it. This way, if she "says" something she doesn't like afterwards, she can hit "backspace"!
