The shoulder joint is very complex because of the structures that surrounds it. It could be tendintis, bursitis or impingement that's causing the pain in your shoulder. Best thing to do is go to your doctor, he can do tests to diagnose the problem then he can refer you to physical therapy where they can help with pain management and help you strengthen your shoulder to prevent further injuries. Hope it gets better.

Don't try to self diagnosis. Trust all these people's intentions...you need a professional opinion. I had the pain lifting my arm when extended and that was stress related pinched nerve (chiroprator treated successfully...first time took months of treatment, because I had thought it would fix itself and didn't go when pain fist occurred; second time took about three treatments). A friend of mine had what she thought was torn rotator cuff, self diagnosed, because she hurt it carrying heavy water hoses over her shoulder, similar pain to your description. She finally bit the bullet and went to a chiropracter and got method to alleviate her migraines and after three treatments, eliminated the pain of the shoulder issue. Another situation, also stress related caused pain in chest, high on the right side and doctor sent me for stress test (treadmill) w/ ekg and then because there were irregularities, a nuclear medicine stress test with EKG which concluded what I had thought in the first place....STRESS, not a medical condition. Symptoms went away when test was over and stress went away. Good Luck

You really need to see a Physician and have an x-ray done.
You will lose the muscle in that arm if you are unable to use
it and keep the muscles worked. Also the pain is nearly unbearable right? I pulled my shoulder out of socket and it was
very painful. Get some help, ok?

This could be anything from a pinched nerve to a serious structural problem in your neck. Yes, I said neck, and I meant neck.
You must see a doctor in order to be properly and completely diagnosed. Only at than point can you and your health care team begin to work towards finding your optimal combination of treatment.management options.

Go see a doctor. You must have pulled something. If it's been over 2 months, you REALLY should see a doctor.

You may have a condition known as "frozen shoulder" or more properly termed "adhesive capsulitus". You should check with your physician.

Sounds like a repetative motion injury or damage rotator cuff. Do you do something repetative like in a factory.
