My ears are soooo clogged...doctor's closed?

I have such a bad cold...my ear is so clogged, I can't hear anything...what can I do about this...Decongestants aren't working..it doesn't have any pain though.

This home remedy was given for painful throbbing in your ear; but I am sending it to you, because according to my information, earaches occur when swollen mucous membranes produce more fluid than usual, thereby blocking the ear canal. I fear you may get the pain, since your ear is so clogged and because I feel it can help you. Microwave 2 cups table salt for 2 minutes and pour into a thick sock. Let cool just slightly so the sock is comfortably warm, then lay your ear on it while you rest. The warm salt in this homemade heating pad draws built-up liquid out of the ear, so you will wake up relieved.

Try putting warm water in your ear for a while then tip your head and let it drain back out. It will take some of the wax with it. You can also plug your nose and blow very gently to try to equalize pressure in your ear. Warm washcloths under your ear may help also.

What you have to do is clean out your ear.

~*~Materials for this are~*~

-Hydrogen peroxide
-Towel (preferably one you won't mind dumping your ear wax on)
-Q-tips
-Water squirter (anything that squirts water with power *water pick, etc.* -- if using a water pick, use the most comfortable power for your ears so you don't rip your ear drum tissue.)

~*~Directions~*~

1) Lay on your side. Gently pour the Hydrogen peroxide in your ear that's upwards. (Make sure you pour enough in your ear, but not too much that it will spill out.)

2) Wait for about 20-30 minutes then lean too your side and dump out in towel. If your ear is really clogged you will have that feeling of the Hydrogen peroxide stuck in your ear.

This is where the water squirter comes in. Fill the water squirter with Luke warm water and squirt inside your ear. You will see LOTS of ear wax fall out in clumps. You may need to clean it a second time, if so, until your ear is totally clean.

3) Once your ear is clean, wipe the inside of your ear with a
Q-tip. Make sure to wipe your inside-ear completely dry for wet ears led to accumulate more ear wax.

4) Repeat above steps on opposite ear.

to cure it is to use "cotton swabs" & "proxcide" have parent
clean inner part ! make sure that yourself dont use bobby pins
