Well, I've been wondering, can someone tell me how to dial letters by numbers? I don't understand how it works. Like for the letter A, how many times do you have to dial 2? Once for A, twice for B, and thrice for C? I just don't get it! Help!

For any of the letters A, B or C, dial 2 once. Likewise for the remaining letters of the alphabet, dial the numbers shown below.

DEF dial 3
GHI dial 4
jkl dial 5
mno dial 6
pqrs dial 7
tuv dial 8
wxyz dial 9

It's not like text messaging where you have to distinguish among three letters (e.g., a, b, and c on the 2 button). Phone numbers only use digits, so the C really just means 2 on the phone keypad. A is also a 2, and so forth.
Thus 1-800-CLEANMAID is the same as 1-800-253-2662 (once you reach the A in maid, you have all the digits required and the phone will ignore the last two if you enter them).
Personally, I hate businesses who use this system!

Its simple. Just follow the letters on the phone. If theres a doubled letter, like 1800-LITTLEDOT, press the number for"t" twice! Good Luck!
