I have the old type of Window Live Messenger, and I dont know how to add people. All it has is a green person and a bell under it. On top it has things that says like files..
How do I add people on my list? I thought you added them on your email address and then it would be sent to the windows live messenger.. but it is not doing that..

1. log in live messanger
2. at the far right of the bar, with the faded writing in sayin ;find a contact or number; in there will be two icons, click the left one
3. a new windows will appear, in the first blank bar enter the person you want to add, (EXAMPLE.1@HOTMAIL.COM/CO.UK)
4.then click save,
once the peson accepts you (if they do) they will apear online, until then, they wont
