some people say dogs, cats, hamsters and other wonderful children of god will not go to heaven just because they are not human. I don't believe that, I know god wants them in heaven, don't you think so? In fact if I were god (i know that sounds weird to say) I would prefer animals

I'm pretty sure there will be animals in heaven. But I don't believe animals have an eternal soul. If they did then they could choose to deny God and sin. But animals don't have that choice. Animals are like plants except they move.
