I think that depends on whether you believe that Adam was made by god, in which case there would be no need for one since he had no umbilicus.
Similarly Eve, who was created from Adam's rib (or side). And also Lilith, Adam's first wife (and in some versions another, created, before Eve, from dust but rejected by Adam).
All 'men' after this point were 'begat' (born) and so it can be assumed they had navels.
Of course, I'm talking about mythical beings here, so it's all pretty much conjecture really.

Adam and eve do have belly button like other humans, they were too born from their mothers womb normally. they were normal human beings.
most of people believes that Adam and eve was first human pair and human species reproduced from that couple. this is not correct.
Adam and eve was "first chosen pair" by god, from numerous human beings existed at that time. that was "first holy pair" not the first ever human beings.
all the story of Adam and eve mentioned in almost all divine books is metaphor. we should not take it literally.
also by all means it is not possible that all humans are descended from single pair. if we believe on it, then we will have to bypass all genetic rules, if we believe on single pair then we will have to accept that the kids of Adam and eve married each other. and then their kids married each other and so on. by doing so replication of same genetic codes again and again, lethal genes would be produced, and human species would have been extinct long ago. so logically its not possible.
also from genes study of various cultures and various continents we surely know that there are different genes in different continents. if we are descended from same pair then all humans on earth must have same eyes color, hair color, skin color, and even same blood groups. i hope it will open a channel for thinking i.e not to believe on Adam and eve story literally.

Are you asking whether Adam and Eve shared a belly button or whether they each had one of their own?

Batteries and a remote control. Belly button was just the on/off switch.

No. They were direct creations, not born with any umbilical cord. GOD, Who cannot lie, would not have made one for them as a cute joke. He is perfect in truth, so He would not want to mislead them into thinking they were born, either. Can you imagine the times they had when they talked with their own children & answered their kids' questions about why their bodies were different? It would all go back to God, the garden, etc. -- a lesson for the kids about choices and a first-hand talk about what GOD is like. Wow!!
Now, as for naysayers about creation, why is it that we can believe people are now capable of cloning animals, but so many don't believe that anyone could have done as GOD did when He took a rib from Adam & made a woman? GOD is so beyond us! HE did such things at the beginning of mankind's existence, and modern man is barely to the point of anything remotely bordering HIS capabilities !!!

This question has been asked so many times, I really don't know how it could possibly matter. I will say that because we wold need them to procreate , I think they both had them. Otherwise if only Eve had one and then everyone after her did, Adam would be a freak.

Probably not since God created them, there wasn't an umbilical cord to tie off. They were the originals, we're all copies.
Unless, like the Pilsbury Dough Boy, God reached out and playfully poked Adam's tummy to see if the clay had dried! LOL
