Diablo sounds SO much cooler. It's also the name of a cigar.
Consider it a nickname, of sorts.
Some people call me Triforce. Others call me a heathen.

devil and deablo mean the same thing. To destroy Gods creation. So? Are people calling you a devil, falsly accusing you, or are you really doing destructive work for the devil?
I don't think anyone should call you a devil, unless you are being destructive. Like breaking computers, etc. Also the devil slanders or falsly accuses others. Are you doing that? Also, the devil is a theif, and are you stealing things? I hope you aren't considering murdering others. The devil is a murderer from the beginning.

Tell them that you prefer Diablo and if they ever call you devil you will tell you mom and she will report it to the principal.

Nah. Some of my friends used to call me the Devil's Daughter cause I have a wicked sense of humor. I doubt its meant as an insult and if it is then tell them to stop.

It's not good. You become what you allow people to call you. I'd come up with a better nickname.
