My youngest has a mouth that just won't quit. He mews, yowls, huffs, any noise you can think of a can making, and then some. My favorite is when he's mewling and then sits down and does a huff that's actually a serious of short air bursts, like he was lecturing and then finishes off with a "so there."

Yep...I went away for a week, had a good friend come by every other day to check on her and play with her but she sleeps with me every night so I knew she would be a little lonely at night. When I did come home she was MAD...she yelled at me and would attack me every time I walked around a corner. But when she saw the new toy I bought her she forgave me...thankfully, as I always say, I dont have a cat....She has a human :-)

YES all the time. I have four cats and if I scold my cat Sassy she will back talk me by meowing at me and if I don't get up and feed her when she wants me to she meows and growls at me until I get up and do it. I have four cats but she's more demanding then the other 3

Yes. I am here to say that cats are more lazy than dogs and have a mind of their own. Once, my cat didn't like what I gave him for breakfast and pooped on my bed what I think was on purpose. Whenever I pick him up, he gives me that look of irritation and says through his actions,"put me down or else." Boy cats are a lot more independent than dogs. Dogs at least like to see you. I bet that when I get home, my cat goes,"oh no, this dimwit again!" When I get home and pet him, he looks at me like he'll swipe me any second. He hisses at everyone including me. He's either crabby or just plain mean. Yes cats have a mind of their own.

I have 4 cats. My younger boy HATES when I go away on vacation. I always have someone he knows (my sister and brother-in-law) house sit for me when I'm gone. I don't want to board them, because they are much happier at home.
Anyhow, when I get home, he just LOOKS at me with that, "Oh, it's you..." look and refuses to come near me. It eventually wears off after he decides to forgive me for leaving (and I bribe him with a new toy!)
