I woke up around 1 after being sick and was hungry for mac & cheese, while eating it I found a little bug in it. So I called my mom and she said they were weevils. I then went and looked in the sink where I strained the noodles and found more weevils in the sink, they weren't moving but none the less this proves that I more than likely ate some! After I realized I probably ate some I threw up for about 5-10 mins, now I am wondering, what is the proper thing to do if you eat weevils, will they not hurt you, should you throw up, or what?

Despite the obvious grossness of eating weevils, they pose you no harm and actually provide some protein. Still, even though I wouldn't panic or worry, It isn't particularly pleasant to think about. In the Civil War in the US the soldiers ate a biscuit called 'hardtack' and the tins were always full of weevils but they ate them anyway and reported that they didn't affect the taste, but if they dipped them in coffee, then they would have to scrape the weevil layer off to drink the coffee. SO worry not.

I was making pancakes one morning and as I stirred the large mixture I noticed there were quite a few weevils in the mix.(flour?) nyway I was hungry, it was a lot,and thought of yhe holocaust and they would be glad to have it!
ate it all with no effects! we are spoiled

Never ate one but to get rid of them buy some bat leaves and put them in a zip lock sandwich bag and put them in your cuboard..
