Waxing is good when it has just been done but I remember a friend of mine that used to get it done had to grow her leg hairs to about 5mm before going in and getting it done. I can't stand stubble so I stick with shaving regularly.

A sugar based waxing product is ultimately the best form of hair removal as the results last much longer. Sugaring products only stick to the hair and not your skin so are less painful.
Most people get used to the pain of waxing after several sessions and then prefer the results. The pain definitely diminishes with time and very much depends on the quality of the wax you use.
Another benefit with waxing is that with long term use it may result in permanent hair loss as hair will eventually give up growing if you repeatedly pull it out by the root.
I would recommend investing in a really good heated wax like Moom as users swear by it. Don't waste your time with gimmicky no heat products as they simply don't work as well...

Waxing is better. Wax pulls the hair out off the roots. It will take you around a month to get your hair back. But with shaving, the hair will grow quicker, thicker, pointed and more than what you usually had. That's because the hair is shaved on top of your skin only leaving the roots behind.
However, waxing is painful if you're not used to it, unlike shaving.
Besides, if your hair grows lightly, just go for Nair (hair remover cream). It's gentle. Don't use Veet tho, it irritates the skin. One last thing, don't use hair remover cream on your pubic area coz it's unsafe.

It is not true that if you wax enough times in the same area hair will no longer grow there. You may be able to stop a few hairs from growing again, but you will still grow hair.
I think shaving is better. You can do it at home (effectively), it is inexpensive, and not messy. You don't need to wait until the hair is a certain length before shaving, while hair is recommended to be at least 1/4 inch in length for proper waxing. Who wants their hair to be that long?
An additional benefit to shaving is that it exfoliates dead skin cells. That's always a plus in my book.

Waxing is better as hair grows back finer and you get a better result. Also you don't need to wax as often as you'd have to shave. Waxing is painful though, and shaving isn't.
I always have my eyebrows waxed as it's over in 10 minutes and I get a much better finish than with plucking, nor is it any more painful than plucking, which takes so much longer.

I think it depends where you're doing it. Leg waxing is pointless. It hurts like hell, it;s expensive and you can do the job in less than 10 mins and have silky pins for like 2 or 3 days.
Bikini area and under arm I'd wax. Yep, it hurts. But bikini stubble doesn't look nice and it's pretty irritating. As for underarms I just hate any hair there at all. I'd have electrolysis there if I had the pennies!

Well, if you want it to last longer, then you should wax, although it's more painful than shaving. If you have the time every couple of days, or can't take the pain, then shave.I usually shave unless I'm going on vacation, because then I don't want to bother shaving. Hope I helped!

Waxing last a lot longer than shaving but it hurts a lot more. Wax if you can take it.

wax.
I shaved for many years. Then I waxed once, and I will never shave again. After you've waxed, you feel super hairy if you ever have to shave, as the hair is still there for you to see and feel. Waxing takes all that hair away and is unbelievably smoooooth!!
