Your cat probably isn't jealous, just very protective of you and your house. The new men have new scents and if some have pets, Tigger may feel they are invading on his space. The reason he doesn't act the same with your ex is because he's gotten used to his scent. My suggestion is to let Tigger spend time with the new man every time he visits or to leave something with the guy's scent in your house so Tigger gets used to the new scent. After a while Tigger should get used to this new guy. Sometimes it just takes time for cats, especially males, to get used to changes in the household.

Cats are very territorial regardless of their vendors. Cats take approximately 2 weeks to settle right into a sparkling enviroment your previous cat won't take kindly to this. They quickly cool down yet their character differences some what. Cats love their human mom and dad.

Uh oh, he's agressive, when dogs or cats get TOO close to their owners, and hate other people, I'm like an expert on dogs and cats, but um, it might be too late since he's agressive, but leave the house a whole lot, and make people he doesn't know be around him while you're gone, this might change his attitude, might not, just make sure you're not around him that much, hope this helps!

He might be jealous but most likely he feels you are "cheating" on the ex. After all cats don't understand divorce. He sees you with the ex only, another man signals something is amiss to him.

Sounds like he doesnt like your male friend. I had a cat who hated my ex-husband and would give me dirty looks if he came around. She was sooooo right about him!
