I agree pray for his soul and that his sins are forgiven by the Blood of Jesus Christ. There is a lot of power in prayer.Don`t give up its all in Gods hands. May you have peace in a time of trouble and may God give you and your family peace and understanding If your uncle is able to talk and listen its your job to say a sinners prayer with him if hes not a true Christan. All he has to do is ask and receive Jesus into his heart and believe he died for his sins and seek forgiveness and he will have a place in heaven with the Father God.

You obviously love your departing uncle dearly to set your focus to seek out help for him. That is wonderful of you! The best remedy for your uncle and YOURSELF is to contact the Church of Jesus Christ LDS. They/we have Holy Temples set-up just to assist our and everyone's deceased loved ones: in addition, there is a number in each temple to call for immediate prayer assistance. When you call the Temple in the state you live in, they will ask you the name of your uncle and what your wish is and thank you very much for calling. Then they will form a group and pray earnestly about your uncle. I don't know how to express the inner "wholeness" you will feel. They would be more than happy to help you and you truly will be elated. So will your uncle.

it may be that your uncle may pass and it may not never give up hope, we have an awesome God and He is a God of timing if it is your uncles time just know it will happen to all of us,i certainly pray that your uncle is in no pain and to me sometimes we need to know that God may need him worse than we do,i know this may sound extremely hard but when God closes one door He always opens another know that while he is here on this earth you have done all thats possible to help him ,and tell him that you love him; my prayers

read to your uncle ...he'll hear you: PSALM 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
He leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soup
He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sale
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
for Thou art with me
thy rod and they staff, they comfort me
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

God bless you
