I like to start with something aggressive, like Metallica or Prodigy. About halfway through, I like to throw in something funny, like Tenacious D or some old ABBA. Other than that, some bands I like to use include Grateful Dead, Outcast, any David Bowie, and Eminem.

my suggestion - unless you are running on a treadmill ditch the tunes and just groove on reality. Let your mind go during your run and enjoy the ride. If you're on a treadmill get outside and run.
