I am very upset. My dad bought a new laptop. He doesn’t know that much, how to operate a pc. Whenever he would need help he used to ask me. I helped him every time without any complaint. One day when I took his laptop for my work he said, “don’t take my laptop”. He did not even have any work at that time. Since then I did not even touch his dumb laptop. But how could be he so mean? I helped him so much and why did he behave like this? Otherwise also he is troublesome, always shouting and fighting.

hey do not worry. you just stop helping him with the pc problems. you do not use his computer if he does not want you to use. but next time say NO when he asks for help.

i at ur place wouldnt ask him again but if u need the laptop just ask him while having dinner when ur mom has cooked some delicious food. at that time men are usually in a good mood

Well, there's nothing to worry about!!! If your dad doesn't want you to touch her laptop, perhaps it's just because there are some personal things in it which he doesn't want you to see. And also next time, you NEVER help him, okay!!!!

all this is common in ones life just try to go to ur father and start praising him and keep giving much importance to him in ur day to day life also. most important thing is try to let him know in one way or the other that u r very much thank full to him and also u love to be with him but just remember one thing no father will say or feel that he dont like his child or he had grudge against his child all that ur father wants is LOVE just give it as much as u can

Could be your father passing through some unstable phase in his workplace or with his wife. Is he like this only since you are observing him? Talk to your mother. You only can sort it out by sitting together in a cool mood.

It was probably some **** on it. If your dad insists on being mean, perhaps you should be mean as well. The next time he leaves his laptop alone you need to spring into action. Grab it, take it to Starbucks and leave it there. That will teach him that being a meanie isn't cool.

Perhaps he was afraid of all the net scams that are supposed to get you in their net! Whatever is his reason, talk to him about it and tell him how you were hurt by his reaction and whether he really thought that you would do something to damage it?
