denying Jesus Christ. Does that mean that you haven't done it?

Denying Jesus Christ is being ashamed, it's not just an action, visible, but it can also be a thought. Maybe all of us Christians have found ourselves in a context when we were ashamed to tell people who we are, the church we belong to. I believe all of us have 'denied' Christ at least one time, myself included.

no, it doesn't mean that you haven't done it. We all have denied Christ at one time or another, just as Peter and the rest of the disciples did. Don't worry about it, every time you try to do something good to get God to be happy with you, you are denying Christ. Christ is the one who makes God happy with you, Christ is the one who brought the whole world into the family of God, thereby making God happy with the whole world, apart from the world having to 'do' something. You are eternally saved because Christ died for you sins, not because you did something, such as, saying a sinner's prayer or getting baptized or something. When you try to do something to become a child of God you are denying Christ who already made you a child of God, but that is ok, cause when he blows the trumpet for you at the death of your flesh, you will understand this.

I think during the course of our walk with the Lord there arises a recognition of our own profound weakness and propensity toward sin. Even after being born again we still have to contend with our earthly body and the oppression of the world. I think this is also the work of the Holy Spirit to get us to see that it is not our ability to hold onto God that will get us through, but His ability to keep us from falling. God weans us away from self confidence so we come to put our trust in Him alone. Remember the cross. If God didn't spare His Son from us, surely He won't lightly let us slip away. Let this work in you an ever increasing appreciation and gratitude for His great salvation. I would recommend for your meditation, II Peter 1:1-11
Peace to you in Him

If you have done it, truly repent and ask God for forgiveness and never do it again. Peter denied Jesus three times, but was forgiven, it was all in one instance though. Its a dangerous thing and I wouldn't advise it.

Jesus Christ is a magical guy, who floated upward like a gentle balloon on that summer day many many years ago. Don't be worried my child.

Forget it. You've denied Him already. Everytime you chose your sin you deny Christ. And to be sure worry is itself a sin. If you rely on your own faithfullness you will have reason to worry...reason to sin. Better to rely on God's faithfullness.
