Why is it if there is a queue of cars their is always a 4x4 in front? Even a farmer's tractor is tailgating it.

It's an ego thing. Go to overtake them and they speed up. Have you ever seen the shock on the face of an armature 4x4 driver when they find that the trick is not to make it go in bad conditions but how the hell do you stop all that weight when it lets go.I play spot the rolled 4x4 at the side of the road after an icy night.

Oddly enough the SUV drivers in the US can't drive under 40 even in residential areas where the speed limit is 30 mph or slower...Don't worry,they're not your kids

Evidently it wasn't my 4x4 you were tailing!
I reckon it's because of all the 5'1 yummy mummies trying to lean forward enough in their skinny jeans to look over the steering wheel

I dont know about the UK but across the pond its the same way. I think it has something to do with a low IQ.
