Whats wrong with my Cats? 3 of my cats were born in July and are already bigger than their Mom?

They are already larger than most full grown cats that I have seen. I weighed one and she weighs 5 pounds

But they don't look overweight, They are just BIG, but not fat

Hi there...just like humans cats can be either taller, bigger, thinner, etc. than their parents and/or siblings. It has to do with genetics which predetermines a cat's, animal or human's size. Even diet can play a contributory role in how tall/short a human or animal may be as well as diseases.

ok what kinda of cat is the mother , and do you know the father cat ? also id have to agree if the father cat is a big cat then they are probably getting it from thier father i have a male cat that is younger then my female cat , and he is so much bigger , im sure the kittens are fine , but if ya think something is wrong you can always turn to a local vet .

The dad cat may have been a big cat, My kitten is bigger than it's mother thats completly normal......if you still have worries ask your vet for advice!!!!!

is thier dad bigger than thier mom... because if he is they probably just inherted it from thier dad. or their mom is small for the cats normal size

see if you can find out who the farther is. he may just be a huge cat.
