I know this sounds really weird but what I do is I get a dab of bleach and put it on the spot where the mosquito bit and let it there for about 8 seconds and then wash it off. I don't know if it will work for you but it works for me.

Sounds corny but listen. The itchy bump is a histamine reaction to an allergen. In this cast it's skeeter saliva. DON'T scratch. Take an antihistamine. A couple of benadryls and in about 15 to 30 minuites you'll be golden.
