Just as someone else said having out of body experiences doesn't mean you're a ghost.I think it's referred to as astral travel.I have also been lead to believe that a body of a person on life support that is brain dead is most likely already outside their body. When a body is shutting down or in death rattle they may have also left their body before this. Supposedly the mind is the center of the spirit or conscience and the rest of the body is more or less residual exterior. Orbs seem to show this as well even though photographers might say it's moisture on the camera lens. I tried to find a non-biased non religious site but they seem to have the majority. I think that it's possible based on past reports that some energies will leave their bodies under psychological strain as if preparing for death or to separate themselves from the trauma of death. More than likely some scientists have been able to isolate this type of energy and see it with sensitive equipment.

A ghost is just psychic residue. You don't really need to be deceased, I guess.
