Right now...It's definitely the 350Z at 300 HP. It's the only sportscar that Nissan has in the USA right now.
The only current model that even comes remotely close would be the Altima SE-R, but it's still slower than the Z.
However, Nissan will have the Skyline GT-R for a whopping $80K, which will smoke the 350Z, but at a premium price and probably a limited production run.

Is "fastist" a negative reaction to speed - along the lines of ageist and sexist?
Or is it just a mis-spelling of "fastest"?
I think you may have coined a new word for people who dislike speed.
If so, the "fastist" Nissan is the Micra I got stuck behind this morning, driven by an octogenarian in a flat cap, than nearly reached 20mph at one point.
The "fastest" is either a highly tuned Skyline GT-R, or the R390 built to contest Le Mans (a one-off road-going version was built by TWR in order to meet the Le Mans rules at the time, see http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=1510 ).
The 350Z is probably the fastest current production Nissan.

general release 350Z has to be the fastest, unless you work for Middlehurst motorsport where general release would be the upto date Skyline GT-R.
There must be a long cue to the top of that cliff with all the K12 micra's out there!!
Cheers
