a bake sale
a thrift sale- see if you can use a local church or VFW hall.
Walmart often lets people sell hot dogs out front. Sign up early.
Have a coffee and desert night, locate talent through your local college drama club or music club. Use the evening to raise funds as well as to promote your cause.
Do you have a 501 (c) 3? You will need this in order to legally raise money. Otherwise you will need to be umbrellaed by another organization that is tax-exempt.

You can cut grass, shovel snow, clean someone's house, and things like this.
You cannot go door to door to ask for donations, or to sell things, unless you have a license to do so. And, unless you are a registered Charity or club, I doubt if you can get a license.
I am afraid that there is not alot of ways you can raise money.

Hold a bagel breakfast at someone's house. Set aside one hour for it on a weekend. Invite tons of people. Tell them there's no charge, but bring their checkbook because you will talk about the cause and ask for donations. Make a presentation about the work -- maybe eight minutes long. Ask everyone to contribute. People will chip in -- you can make a lot of money this way very quickly, and you can repeat it if you need more money by doing it the next weekend at someone else's house. Invite about five times as many people as you think can fit in your house.

How about selling some items on ebay with the proceeds being donated to your charity? Perhaps you have toys, video games, clothing, books, etc. that are in good condition. Or perhaps you could make a craft item that people would like to buy.
You will need your parents' permission/help and be sure to mention in the description that it is for charity... you will get higher bids that way.

I am sure that you have a tone of things in your closets or under your beds that you can get rid of, so just have a yard sale. Maybe even think about printing some flyers up and passing them around school for other kids to get involved. You will have a great time and make some money too.

Try a bottle drive, go around and get cans and bottles for cash, another good idea is a garage sale. Set it up in someones yard. Get all your old stuff or put up notices for donations to your sale. We did this for a person in my church that needed to take her daughter out of the country for surgery they raised thousands for it.

In my humble opinion I think you can try establishing a website explaining your work and what your club effort being you don't want to be public, through this website you can rise some extra money. Good luck.

I agree with the Car Wash. Yuo should work for your money.
Also try shoveling snow, raking leaves, and things like that.
You might want to try to join a local environmental organization. There are many organizations who may be already accomplishing the things you are trying to do--and they might need your help.

You have to offer something --- if no one knows about your club, you'll need to decide exactly what it is you're trying to do, first.
Then you can start telling the community what you're about, through posters, handouts, meetings, and online.
You'll find it easier to get the money you need when people understand -- and support --- what you've set out to accomplish.
