I'm a distance runner and our coach is making us do a lot of miles this season. we are in hs and i feel wore out..but I aslos feel heavier then usual..what diet should i use for runners...b/c with all these long runners i need engery!

eat lots of protein... and contrary to popular belief, carbo loading does more harm than good. For really good diet tips, read Fast Track by Suzy Favor Hamilton. Its geared toward female distance runners, but it's not really much different than what a male should be doing. It gives lots of good tips as to what foods are best (FISH) and why the food pyramid is very very very wrong!!
