The largest study of the health effects so far was by Kaiser Permanente. They surveyed the health records of 65,000 patients over a number of years. They found no significant differences between the health records of those who smoked pot versus those who didn't.

This is consistent with all the other major research on the topic. Marijuana is not a serious threat to health and you really have to abuse it before it produces any serious long-term ill effects.

besides getting cottonmouth and the munchies I don't know of any bad side effects with little or sporadic use of the drug. Although long term usage of the drug can lead to short term memory loss as well as a build up of residue in the lungs, of course the latter isn't nearly as bad for you as cigarette smoking as some would try to have you believe. I used marijuana daily for many years before getting a job requiring a negative drug test for marijuana as well as other drugs, and I can tell you that now that I have been clean I can definitely tell the difference I used to have a great memory I could remember peoples names and the faces that went with them and phone numbers were so easy to remember, but after my long term pot usage I can't remember someones name for anything unless I see them constantly or on a daily basis. My opinion of the drug is that it isn't bad and should be legal of course this will never happen because of the pharmecutical companies stanglehold on the drug market, smoking a little bit of pot every now and again won't hurt anyone but doing it all the time will put a hamper on your thought process take it from me that it will do that.

Well, it is kinda odd, but I know people that have had the same reaction. While most kin' bud you get now days is always laced with something besides just weed, 'cause everyone wants a bigger and better buzz. Maybe you should refrain from smoking awhile and see if the symptoms still persist, if so go see a doctor. Best of luck!

nothing. Marijuana makes you feel europhia, you feel great, there is nothing wrong, except having munchies. But other than that Marijuana creates no illnesses, but like smoking cigarettes, the smoker may find it difficult to breath after smoking alot.
