Depends on what kind of meat you use. If you use a lower fat content then they are not horrible for you. It is better to grill or my fave-George Foreman them so they are not sitting in their grease. And as long as you dont eat them everyday.....

I agree with the answer given by rodandalisonthompson. Everything in moderation is the right approach. Those who consider a hamburger a bad thing under any circumstance in any quantity is taking an extreme position.

A typical hamburger is high in protein but also in fat so you must balance out the good with the bad and consume it sparingly and at an interval suitable to your weigh and conditions. Make sure you eat it with plenty of lettuce and tomatoes (and a bit of onion) so at least you'll get some vegetables with it...

By the way, asking are hamburgers good for you is akin to asking are eggs good for you. Two or three eggs a week may be good but 6 or more can be quite bad ...

Well hamburgers are fast food which has a lot of oil. Which is no. Also meat isn't that good for you cause it can cause a lot of bad things. You could replace hamburgers with something like veggie burgers are something like that.

Generally no....

Why not have something a bit lighter like chicken or a veggie burger....they taste better and you aren't getting all the fat and oil from a sloppily prepared mystery meat burger.

everything in moderation

assuming that it is properly cooked.......too much red meat is bad for you, too much white bread is bad for you......

The meat in the burger is a good source of iron and if you have lettuce and tomato with your burger then you are getting some vegetables (though not much).

A lot of the sauces you get though are very high in fat so the less the better!

It's not the best thing for you. You are better off making a Turkey Burger.

haha that depends if you get it from a fast food place no. But if you cook it yourself then they are not bad for you. My mom always puts minced vegies in our hamburger patties. Oh and use a whole wheat bun then they are not bad.
