I think it is done more by a county by county thing because here in Mississippi, there is this one county, Pike County, that serves alcohol on Sundays... But as a whole, in Mississippi, you can not by alcohol on Sundays, just like in a lot of other Southern States....

In the US each state makes it's own rules. Federally speaking Election day the bars are closed while the polls are open. Remember to stock up for that lol.

I live in KY.No alcohol sales from store
on Sunday but the larger resturants still sell it.Some counties don't sale it at all any day.

Some southern states have dry days on the day of the sabbath.

you can't buy alcohol before noon on Sundays here in Houston
and there are some entire counties here in Texas that are completely dry - can't get alcohol at all ever! (eep) It's un-American!
