I said as God. which is what it says. not like God.AS god.to be AS God.not to be a God or like God. AS God.Thats what it says.so how to be AS God?Thanks

We can strive to be LIKE God in his wisdom and love. We can never be like God, but we can continually try. Before you do something and are not sure if you should do it or not, ask yourself, 'would I invite Jesus to join me in this?' In all things try to do as God would want you to.

It is when you are led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD that you are 'god'. Please read John 10: 22-42. For this to happen, you have to follow the following steps: Repent; Believe; Confirm the New Covenant; Baptize by full immersion in water. At this stage, you are born of water. Your spirit that died to GOD in the Garden of Eden is now brought back to life and can now be born of Spirit to do the will of GOD. It is your soul that needs salvation. The truth is, flesh and blood has nothing to do with this.
The problem with Christianity is that it has ignored the New Covenant for which Jesus Christ shed His blood. Matthew 26:17-30. The promise of GOD to save us is in this covenant. Without it, salvation is absolutely impossible.
Christians do all unimaginable things. Do you know that 'give your life to Christ' is the teaching of Satan? There is nothing like that in the Bible. "Watch out for false prophets." Matthew 7:15-20.

God said in the beginning that He made man in His image and likeness. The image and likeness that God has is His righteousness which had been hard for man to understand or do. In us, there is a spirit of goodness that was created within alongside with our own rebellious nature. He also gave us the intelligence different from all other creatures so we could know our higher state of being because He wants us to be His extension of taking charge in the preservation of His creations. To be as God means to be as God wants us to be. It did not say to be like God.

Well, a good start would be to read the teachings of Jesus and try to follow them. Try to see things from God's perspective, look on everyone with love and compassion, and forgive others like God forgives us. Be God's ambassador to a fallen world. The world needs to know what love is. In your words and actions, show them what God's loving character is like, point them to Jesus so that they will look to him and be healed from the venom of sin.
Perhaps in your question you are thining of the part where Jesus says, "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). If you read earlier on in that same chapter what Jesus says before he said those words, you will get some idea of what Jesus is asking us to do.

It says to be holy as God is holy. We do that by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior and walking with him. That means you repent of your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. When you do that He forgives you and comes to dwell in you and begins to help you to clean up your life.

Where does it say that? I read that we have become as them, the Elohim, I do not know that it says we are to embrace this. Most people do not like this, they think it is disrespectful to say we are as gods, those people are pvssies.
