Oh boy---do I know about this. It is drainage. If a bunch is coming out, it could be that his eardrum has ruptured. If it's just a little, it may be that he has an inner-ear infection. Just watch him to be sure he doesn't get dizzy or fall and get hurt. Ears control balance. If it starts to turn color or smells funny, it may be getting worse. Get him to a doc asap.

well I was thinking it could have been water, but I doubt it since you said it was hurting him. maybe he has an ear infection, although i've never heard of clear liquid coming out of his ear. you need to get him to the doctor as soon as you can though. I don't think it's anything serious, but I'd get him to the doctor when you can. in the mean time put a heating pad on his ear, and give him some childrens tylenol to help with the pain. hope this helps, and hope the little guy feels better soon!

It sounds like he might have an ear infection and it could have possibly ruptured the ear drum. I recommend taking him to the doctor. As for pain try holding a warm rag on it and give him tylanol or Ibuprophen for pain. He should be seen by a doctor though.

This is probably an ear canal infection, my son has them once are twice a year. Give him some meds for the pain, and you know where I am at there are the emergency medical clinics that treat minor stuff like ear infections on the weekend you might could check into that. Also put cotten in his ear, and there are some over the counter meds that might help.

This is a definite doctor visit. Drainage is OK, but he needs something for the pain. Tylenol will reduce any fever and help control the pain, but the doctor can prescribe something for the infection.

Should be find. Don't try and stop it. Ears are supposed to drain and when they don't you get tubes to make the drain hole bigger because the liquid is to thick. Don't put anything in the ear. Try a warm compress to help the pain. Get to the Dr.

Well depends.Has he had an ear infection? If so then this maybe drainage from that or worse a perforated ear drum. Meaning that the ear drum had so much pressure that it tore to release pressure. Either way bad !!!!!!! take to Doctor a.s.a.p!
