The people that like to hunt, probably already know what they need to to get the job done.
The ones that hunt most likely learned from someone else. They just ask that person if they have questions. My Dad and brother go hunting together, so they have each other to question.
As for the person that said it is mean to shoot a helpless animal, I agree that it is wrong to hunt for sheer sport of killing something. However, it is not wrong, in my opinion, to hunt for food. When my Dad or brother kills a deer, we eat it. The parts that are not edible go to our dogs, so nothing really goes to waste.
I love animals, in fact, when I was 9 years old I raised a 4 week old fawn which was found in the woods with no mother in sight, on a bottle. The people that found him said that he was orphaned and needed a home, so we gave him one.
Another thing, I also believe that if you kill an animal, you should not make it suffer.
It is part of the food chain as long as you eat what you hunt.

Good point!
I like to shoot my Sigs (.45) whenever I can find the time.
The only hunting I do is at the local grocery store, because I can't hit anything with my Remington 700 series.
...that's right, all of California's animals are EXTRA safe whenever I'm out with my rifle ...
Have a nice day.

+1 on the 16 year-olds. I don't think there are very many people who are adept with firearms who are also adept with the Internet. Those that are steer clear of Yahoo and go straight to the gun boards. Most gun nuts post questions and answers on the forums listed below. You can find a treasure trove of knowledge if you know where to look.

HI!
There IS a Hunting section on Answers, and your question is listed there!
To find it, on your screen on the left side there is a list of catergories. Go to SPORTS.
Then the list will be of different sports, Go to OUTDOOR RECREATION.
The list will have changed again, Go to HUNTING.
There are also gun and shooting questions on the GENERAL OUTDOOR RECREATION catergory on the same list as hunting.
Simply bookmark the hunting page and when you go to answers it will deposit you there directly.
SEE YA!

The hunting/shooting questions are overwhelmed by homework and relationship questions. Also, many questions are posed by individuals who are not old enough to own a firearm.
Not many fishing/boating questions either.

I don't know about taboo , but none of the hunters I know are computer literate / users. Maybe the 'head count' of hunters who are on the Internet is just low.

I don't know, why don't you email the Yahoo team and ask for it to be added?
In the meantime just ask away in the section that you think fits best...
Of course you'll want to steer well away from the pet section..ha ha jk
