I'm getting my first tattoo today..any ideas?

I want something for my son..with his name on it..Logan..

Do you have any ideas, I have 100 dollars..and want a cute one, either on my chest or my ankle, or my wrist..

I know generally what I want..I'm going to look thru the guys books and stuff..and i'm going to be sure on it..so all you people that are being negative, and to the ones who say they're ugly..go get BENT!

First of all, be ABSOLUTELY sure of what you want before you get it. Second, I wouldn't suggest getting anything on your chest or wrist for a first tattoo....both very painful spots. My husband is a tattoo shop owner and we constantly have to turn people away if we see any sign of them being un-sure about doing this. I suggest that you take a while to consider what you really want, draw it out if you have to. If not, go to a tattoo artist and have them come up with a few ideas for you (they always know what will look good!) Good luck! Tattoos are a great thing....as long as you love them!!

Not sure how old your son is, but if he is a little older try adding something into it that really interests him. I would try to get an image that everytime you see of it you think of your son. I am not sure how much $100 will go depending on how big you are going with it.

If you chose to get a tattoo then you could see what friend have done with their tattoos and or see if they have any ideas on what you should do, they are your friend so they probably have alot in common with you, or you could go to the tattoo place and see what kind of stuff they have, if you like it then you could maybe take a pic so you remember then see if you have any other choices.

Whatever you decide, I would put it where you can hide it with clothing, for let's say, your job. Not knowing if you plan on a professional career or not, alot of companines frown on tattoos. I have 4 of them, and you would never know it unless I showed them to you, while dressed that is. Good luck, and remember, it is more or less permanent.

The only advice I have for you is to put it where you can cover it with clothing in case you ever really want to do that. You might not think you will right now but you may find that you will want to in the future. Trust me, I know.

i would advise NOT getting a tattoo unless you are 100% sure what you want and have known what you want for months. maybe years. really... not a great idea to go and do a spur of the moment tattoo. but whatever you want to do. that's just my advice.

Remember you get what you pay for, so this will be a small tattoo. Get his name drawn in with a wreath of roses. Shade the roses pink or red.

you probably are already done; but i think you should get a train engine line and write your sons name in it....like the first one his 1st name, then the second one and so on. & if you have more kids it can wrap around and you can just add them on.

well maybe you can get Logan in your fav colors and then put like stars and a moon by it cuz you love him more then the moon and the stars or at least my mom says that to me all the time!!!
