Hi everyone! I'm turning 20 this year. I want to be 5'4". My dad is 5'8" and my mom is 5'2.5". I'm the eldest and I'm like the shortest. I'm only 5'1.5" and I'm 137 lbs so that makes me overweight. Will I be able to reach my goal(5'4") if I lose like 40 lbs and do Pilates?

Please help, I need all the help I could possibly get. Just no operations. I've seen it on National Geographic and it's too desperate.

i turned 20 just a month ago.im 5'6 i think. im like the shortest of my brothers even though im the oldest. i blame it on american milk. i wasnt born here. so i always say that their taller because as a child, they had all the milk they wanted.

but im happy with my size. you should be too. we guys like our girls to be shorter then us. im sure you feel the same way. you want to be shorter then ur date. you wont grow by losing weight but it will make you look taller.

No, sorry but you are done growing. You can however wear high heels, improve your posture with yoga or pilates and keep your chin up (literally). Losing weight will not make you appear taller but if you can't be the tallest, then by all means be the healthiest!

since you're 20 and a female, I'm sorry to say you're probably done growing. A man might still grow some more, but most females are done at that age. You can lose weight if you feel you need to.

I hope you reach your height lol. x

Unlikely.

Losing weight will not help you grow. Most girls stop growing when they hit puberty- usually around 13 or 14 years old.

If you lose weight, you'll look leaner and more proportioned.
