Just get away from people who don't appreciate you.

You certainly can. The way you carry yourself and the expression you have on your face can be more intimidating than words sometimes. If you are confident and take on the attitude that no one is going to walk all over you, you will be able to resist this happening to you. It'll take practice though. There must be a reason that people try to walk over you to begin with...maybe you are too nice or easy going.

Being a total b*tch works for me...people tend to walk away from me instead of asking me to do anything extra for them (not my friends of course, I'd do things for them within reason). Don't LET people walk all over you and they will stop trying to!

Yes.
What ever you think and feel will be coming through your eyes.
Just put the thought of "f*uck off" in your mind and don't waver as you look at them.
It will get their attention, and then take it from there.
Another way is to just simply turn your back on them and walk away. This however does not intimidate them, it usually aggravates the situation.
They feel insulted and it gives them strength since you gave up the eye contact.
Its like dogs snapping at your heels.

No because I'm not an intimidating person. People can be intimidating towards me.

You can stare at them intently. They will be intimidated once they think youve lost your marbles.

Develop the 'evil eye'. Not a word is needed. (If you have children - you probably already know about this technique)

Yes! parents and teachers know this technique. just sit (or stand) quietly and watch them. eventually they will stop talking and you can have your say. if they start to talk again, be quiet and wait. it DOES work!!
