Around 8-10 inches along thier back.They sometimes go through a stage where they llook too long but they are kinda long when they are born.They also have strange little bird like bones.You must be very careful not to let them jump off something or out of your arms because they can break thier back or neck very,very easy.Go and get a book at Pets Mart and read up on them it will give you exact standards.Good Luck!!!!!!

There is no such thing as a teacup Maltese or any other breed. This is just a sales tactic irresponsible breeders use when trying to sell runts or dogs bred smaller then the breed standard allows.
