More biblical ignorance, such a sad thing to see. Why try finding FAULT with God's Word instead of looking for truth? You're not worth the time to try to correct.

Meh, go figure. People don't like to think they were wrong. They can't bear the thought of a dark and evil God.
Isaiah 45:6-7:
"...I am the LORD and there is none else. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace an create evil. I the LORD do all these things." (KJV)
Job 9:22-23:
"...[God] destroys both the blameless and the wicked. When a scourge brings sudden death, he mocks the despair of the innocent." (i.e. laughs at the suffering of the victim)
Lamentations 3:37-38:
"Who has commanded and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that good and evil come?"
Fun fact for you: The verse in exodus that is translated as "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" was an intentional mistranslation by King James. The actual word was m'keshefth (and Hebrew speakers are welcome to correct my horrendous spelling), which means a poisoner. But King James was either paranoid enough or greedy enough (he got a cut on criminal persecution) to change it.

Hey black atheists it's birdsflies again, Romans 10:4 Says Jesus is the end of the law, It does not say that he is the end of true events, there is prophecies in the old testament that is to be fulfill in this time we are living in, So now did I said that the old testamant is not for us, NO, I said Jesus Christ fulfilled the Laws of the old testament., He did not do away with the truth of events or prophcies, But that we are no longer under the law age. Now my little grandson can understand that, & he is only 10, Does he have more knowledge than you do. Maybe so. I guess you got stung again over thruth, & the more you get stung, the more you swell up, soon your body will be as big as your mouth.

Since God did not sit at a table and actully write the old testament or any part of it save for the ten commandments( or at least this is how it is written) I would have to say that the vast majority of the old testament and new for that matter has been written by people. now since parts of it are historic record of what has happened, and parts of it are parable it would be safe to say that parts of it are also what people want religion to be, not actuall instructions from God. since about 23 books of the bible have been omitted due to embelishment and overzealous idolization I would have to say it is not hard to figure that some parts of the bible are peoples point of view. Overall it is a story of history as written by man and translated several times over the centuries by man. To err is human. Being an athiest though aybe you can explain to me how the universe came to be. since the Big Bang makes no sense. all the galaxies tavel in random directions. they could not hav all come from 1 point of origin, it defies the laws of physics. so let me know how it all came to be if not by Intelligent design.

First of all The old testament is just as much scripture as the new testament and many other manuscripts that exist but which christianity has forgotten or conspiring priests and political rulers hid from mankind.
As for Adam and EVE the story may or may not be true as much as it is written, but according to LDS prophecy, the curse of adam and Eve was taken away from man through the atonement of jesus. For example working six days a week and Women having to bear children in pain is lessened or done away as a requirement.
Mankind are holy and cleansed through the propitiation of christ. But the scriptures are not done away totally and always have some weight of teaching in righteousness.

The OT applies, but the law has been fulfilled. We live by grace now, not by the law. The Holy Spirit guides us. The law only serves to give us an awareness of sin, right and wrong. All the stories still contain lessons, there is still history. Any Christian who says the OT doesn't apply is abiding by cut and paste theology. If you read the whole Bible with your eyes open, you'll get the picture. It is ALL the word of God. It all points to Jesus as the Savior of mankind.

It is futile to try to make sense in the collections of ancient middle eastern tales and legends.
They were written over many years by many different writers who never imagined that they would one day be used as the basis of a collective delusional schizoid mental disorder in which people would actually think or pretend to think that those tales and legends are the truth.

Jesus teachings invalidate the Mosaic Law, not the Hebrew scriptures. That would be like saying "Since Canada was confederated, throw out all your history books about England." That's silly.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
