Just be yourself I am pretty sure he will come around sooner or later...

First, do not appear obvious or like an easy catch. Find out what he likes by watching(not stalking), or asking friends. Then, start a conversation with a nice smile.
Talk...be yourself...enjoy yourself.

If he likes you, you will be able to tell.
Finally, don't do anything you don't want to do.(Even if he is dreamy)
