Maurice - every time you open your mouth, you do atheism a big favor. Do you honestly think you're helping out Christianity in some way behaving like a conceited jerk here?

I am not an atheist, but I would like to comment. It is sad that the atheists are blind. There is plenty of proof that God exists, but a person does have to open their mind before they can understand what the proof is. I am not saying they are not intelligent, intelligence does not have anything do to with it. If they would try as hard to believe in God as they do trying not to believe, then I know they could see it. You cannot show them the proof that you see and know. Each person has to find this on there own, by studying about it. Yes, if they want to believe, they can. If a person knew that an airplane had a fifty percent chance of crashing, would he or she get on it? Speaking to the non-believers:I chose believing in Jesus because I did not want to die. What have you got to lose? You don't have to be perfect to be a Christian and to live forever, that is what the Good News about it is. Is that why you do not want to believe? Try it first. Try hard. You will understand later. I know some of you will try to find something wrong with what I just wrote. That is your decision. I just hope you make the right decision, and not get on that airplane I was talking about. I know that another airplane has a lot better chance of making it.

Hah, that's pretty funny, considering as part of my computer science degree I had to take advanced calculus, and multiple advanced logic classes.

Do you understand that believing without evidence is illogical, and that you can sit there and say 'faith isnt blind because you get the evidence after' and yet still not make it any less blind or any more logical?

So tell me, you have faith, what evidence did you get that could not be explained better another way?

Dude that is stupid. Because nobody can be sure of the future. You believe in something that is not proven. You cannot prove to us that this evidence and proof is coming. That is not evidence. Evidence is that which exists now. Faith is believing in something that is not proven to be there. And therefore faith IS blind and lacks evidence.

Your concept would be the same as saying "There is a box. This box is not empty because there will be something in it later." That doesn't make the box not empty. It just might be filled later. But it might not.

Evidence comes...later? Faith first? Oh, that's right! Faith first, you liberal, logic-based, evidence-seeking, science-proving, rational travesties of God! I spit on atheists. *Spit*. Ha!

And of course God will provide the evidence later! I prophesied snow in Antarctica, wetness along the Nile, and a heat wave in the Sahara in just the past few days. I can also prophesy that I will have some leftover rice tomorrow, but I can't PROVE it to you yet. Have faith, my child. Calculus is nothing when you have a christian God!

Oh, Maurice, you awful sinner! I know where your loyalties lie! Nobody can save you unless you stop thinking things through and and stop letting your sister watch homosexual porn! Don't you know better? Tut, tut.

P.S. It's tomorrow, and I had that leftover rice. Right again!

If God shows you evidence later, then faith is blind and lacking evidence. Your logic is flawed. If I tell you that I am holding a parrot, would you believe me? You can not see me at present. If you do believe me, you are going on faith. There is no proof that I am holding a parrot. Therefore: faith is blind.

Actually, I get calculus.

I really have some trouble with the idea of faith first and then evidence, though. Are you saying that believers have evidence?

actually they are very aware of what it is and "god" only references one religion in the sense you are saying and faith has been around longer than jesus darling. most earlier faiths(ways of life) didnt believe that some man on a thrown was going to help them...they believed that nature was the key and we were the stewards of it. oh and btw any religion that has a coined phrase like" GODFEARING MAN" isnt anything i would want to be in either...you should never fear your god higher power or creater...you should be one with them and never fear that when they go threw pms that they might wipe out the whole planet. or if he doesnt like the way things are he kills everyone i know of someone in history that did that his name was hitler

ok I basically opt for to point something out 4 u no 2 women are alike you basically might want to make an effort to confirm out what your interest are in women and then make an effort to locate the lady that meets your hobbies. Take me and my bff for an party once you first seem at us we seem to bee precisely alike yet in case you get to attraction to close us She is alot more desirable annoying then me and over reacts to each and each and every problem and is under no circumstances keen to make differences truly in relationships yet i do not over react in any concern i'm keen to make differences its basically we've different personality's.

Now that you have faith, why can't YOU provide the evidence to the rest of us?

One doesn't need to have faith in calculus for it to work, Nimrod.

actually it makes no sense at all, we might as well believe in Zeus or The Easter Bunny if we don't need proof now.
