Males are cheaper small dogs are cheaper I would say on an average $90. Dogs have to be current on their shots. PetCo has low cast vac. they have the flyer's by the check out. If your dog is healthy I'd go this route But if you have any heath concern take the dog to the vet. I live in Ill. by Chicago and at the pet store they also had a flyer for free spay and netter for low income families. You can get a something on the Internet like a coupon and certain vets will except it and take like $40 off. Look around your area

I think it's normally six months old. If you have a dog it might be worth thinking about getting him castrated, as neutering doesn't take away the urge, just the ability to reproduce. Castration is more effective.

Hope this helps

We paid $200 to have my beagle spayed, but your best bet would be to call around to different vets. Ask your friends which vet they used.

We paid a bit of a high price, because my dad refused to go to the other vet that was just as good.

PETA sends out a low cost snip van, it's $50 or $60 to get a dog fixed. They have low cost shots too!
