i noticed that a lot of christians and other religions claim that prophet mohammad(p.b.u.h) copy the quraan from other books!

okay can u till me from where did he bring the 99 names for
god(allah) ??

Similarities between the Qur’an and the Bible does not necessarily mean that the former has been copied from the latter. In fact it gives evidence that both of them are based on a common third source; all divine revelations came from the same source - the one universal God. No matter what human changes were introduced into some of these Judeo-Christian and other older religious scriptures that had distorted their originality, there are some areas that have remained free from distortion and thus are common to many religions.

The similarities between the two signify a common source that is one true God and the continuation of the basic message of monotheism and not that the later prophets have plagiarised from the previous prophets.

The Qur’an presents all the different prophets of Allah as belonging to one single brotherhood; all had a similar prophetic mission and the same basic message. This is why the Qur’an says that the differences which exist between various religions are not the responsibility of the prophets, but of the followers of these prophets who forgot part of what they had been taught, and furthermore, misinterpreted and changed the scriptures. The Qur’an cannot therefore be seen as a scripture which competes with the teachings of Moses, Jesus and the other prophets. On the contrary, it confirms, completes and perfects the messages that they brought to their people.

as a muslim, i can say that these three religions(islam, christianity, jewish) have the same god, it is inevitable to find similar thing, that means that the last book is the newly published and more edited than other books. because Quraan is the last book that has been sent by Allah and it is more comprehensive than the others

I have read both the quoran and the Bible and I do not believe he was a prophet of ""my"" God Yaweh
Allah and Yaweh are not as many think one and the same for we who are Christians worship Jesus as the son of God whilst the quoran clearly states the Allah hs no sons so you see they cannot possibly be the same God I believe this is why we were told in the commandments
(Exo.20:3-17

when people say this . it is usually because they dont know that the Quran is linked to the old testament and the lineage of Abraham
so they assume that it is copying the bible ... when all it is doing is following on from it in a sense
