List the details as clear as you can. I do not want you to care about hurting my feelings. It is not like you can stop it anyhow. Only God can really. So be blunt and be honest.

People will use any lame excuse to deny God,mainly for their own egotistical and selfish purposes. Many will say God's followers are the reason why they choose not to believe. That is a cop-out. God is who they should have their eyes on,not man. They simply don't WANT to believe, and will create any and all excuses not to do so. One thing I have noticed is that they blame God and His followers for that decision, and they can't seem to take the responsibility for making that decision of their own free will. In other words,no matter what atrocities have been done in the name of religion,no matter what Christians or so-called Christians say or do,none of that should make any difference to belief in God,for knowing and serving God is a personal thing just between you and God,and nothing outside of that should have any bearing whatsoever on that relationship. If someone chooses not to believe in God,it is their choice, but they need to be at least man or woman enough to carry that responsibility on their own shoulders instead of blaming it on anyone or anything else.

False Christianity is by far the biggest reason. Satan uses Christendom to spread lies and confusion about God. People think hellfire is real, so they feel that God is sadistic. They think the Catholic church represents God, so when they do all the nasty stuff they do (too much to list) they get turned off of God. They see all the conflicting belief systems out there and give up trying to find out the right way to worship God. This is why most people worship money, celebrities and posessions today. It's easier, but it's wrong.

Chased away from God? If by this you mean that some would not want to become a Christian, it is because WE meaning a real Christian are often the only Jesus many will see.

If I say I am a Christian and I do not live any different then anyone else...what good is it to be one?

If I say I am a Christian and I express hate toward someone I do not like, how can they see the Love of Jesus in me?

We see this a lot with those who say they are a Christian but express hate toward homosexuals, alcoholics, or anyone else that does not believe their way. We need to hate the sin, but love the sinner and there is a difference.

Many reasons. But I think mainly those who feel God is not "with them" are those who turn against Him.

Life events such as the death of a loved one can cause this hardening.

There are so many reasons people turn away from God including those who teach the word. Like the abusive priests in the Catholic church.

The list can go on and on. But I think overall, one who does not value themselves cannot value God, and "man" has an innate ability to continually question God and when they feel they don't agree with the teachings, turn away.

But there are too many factors to mention here.

Hi honey, I finally get to answer one of your questions!

I think that the reason that a lot of people are chased away from God is because they don't want to do right things. They think it's more fun to sin and get in trouble. I think that they think it would be boring if they didn't sin and did the right thing instead. I also think the ones who are chased away from God are making up lousy excuses. People who get chased away from God don't relize that by doing that they are going to be sorry in the end. I for one will never be chased away from God and that's because of you. I could never turn my back on him because of all the good things he's done for me.

I'll bite

LAck of evidence, not feeling happy with it, finding all sorts of errors in his "Word," including blatant lies, knowing that the world is more than 6K years old, the fact that Hinduism is as old as Judaism, the fact that the followers are as dumb as door knobs, and finally, Translation errors in the bible.

I do not deny "God's" existance. I deny Jehovah's placement at this throne. I study a lot of faiths, and many of them have an original nothingness, or divine conciousness. By stating this has a "Name," an "Agenda," you personify it, on this level. That's disrespectful, kinda like calling a man a dog.

Truth.Fear. If there is a God and He is the God of the Bible and God is Holy and sin can not exist with God in Heaven, then no one who is not sealed by the Holy Spirit of God can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

If this is true, and Jesus being God's son (God in the flesh), said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me." - John 14:6, then..............everybody who has not repented (turned away from) their sins and trusted in Jesus and only in Jesus to save them from the wrath of God to be revealed on Judgment Day will not enter Heaven but enter Hell.

This is very scary for believers and unbelievers. God is saying that we are not good but evil and because of God's love for us, He became a man (Jesus) and laid down His perfect life for us sinners so that we could find eternal life in Heaven.

Scary for believers because many will not enter into eternal life, but perish. Scary for unbelievers because they just can't believe any of this is true.

"Unless a man is born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven." - John 3:3.

God's followers are what chase people away from God. They represent God in a manner of speaking, so when they act like jerks, people obviously don't feel attracted towards what they represent.

First, I'm Christian but I think that some Christians who are controlling, and scare people. Scare people away from God. I'm not trying to be judgemental but I honestly think that is true. I also think that the fact of living forever can't clasp together in people's mind scares them. When I think of living forever it scares me too.

People who are 'chased away from God,' are only looking for an excuse not to live a Christian life.
