I know someone who knew they had the flu but went out to all the restaurants just to sit and give everyone else the flu. When i told him i had the flu he just kind of sniggered. I had to go to the emergency room. Why do people do things like this not caring about others? I have tried to stay in myself. Is this a low life or what?

Sadly, there are people in this world who honestly believe that no one on earth matters as much as they do. So, if they're well enough to go out and eat, shop, or whatever with the flu, it shouldn't bother anyone else. Then, when someone else gets it, they should be able to go out just as Mr. Self-Important was. And if they are seriously ill, have to go to the hospital, or worse, dies, oh well. At least it wasn't him.
Thank you for not being one of those people.

I think it is a possibility but I don't believe it has much to do with population. If you think about it what better time to release a virus while the world is in financial turmoil? The swine flu has the possibility of closing down shops, schools, restaurants and anything else in that kind of social category in which the virus can be spread. FINANCIAL CRISIS + SWINE FLU VIRUS = AN EVEN WORSE SITUATION! This can further disadvantage less advance countries giving a greater advantage to stronger countries. I'm not going to point to any particular Government but I've got theories! It is also to put the world in a state of fear and maybe has something to do with putting a New World Order in place.

why go to the doctor when you have the flu? if they give you anything its just to help you relax about it, but other than that nothing gets rid of the flu faster then just staying in bed. its not like you can cough on someone and give them the flu, it is already in the air so whether or not your friend is around you or not if you catch the bug you will get it.

This guy is nasty, stay away from him from now on and tell all your friends about it. The ful can kill, it's not a laughing matter, He needs pshyciatric help big time. I would even contact the the health unit anonymously and tell them what this person did and give his name and let them deal with his behaviour. He could kill a young baby by spreading it on purpose, not funny do something to protect everyone. Good luck, you sound like a very caring person and knowing this and not doing anything about is something I'm sure you won't do.

Sounds like he has some unresolved issues. Maybe someone screwed him over in the past and now in some weird, illogical way he is trying to get back at the world for what happened to him.

That person is a good argument for abortion, or later the death penalty. Same way for people who have aids or any std to spread them.

There are people who want everyone else to suffer if they suffer. It's sad, but not uncommon.
