As a Christian, I was taught that Ghosts and spirits just didn't exist. But there have been times that I have found myself wondering. Have you had any experiences with what you thought might have been a spirit? If you have, tell me about it.

I am a Christian and have had experiences with all including entities that can not be classified in either category. The Bible refers to many people of God that could see. The witch of Endor rose Samuel's spirit from the dead and his ghost was angry with her, there was a sorcerer that God used for his purpose...can't remember the verse right now. Angels appeared throughout the Bible and if someone believes that they don't anymore then they don't know/understand how God works.
The problem is that there are the "majority" that are not seers and they manipulate the whole. If they don't see God and yet believe in Him then why can't they believe that there are other things out there that they can't see. What would the towns people have done to Mary and Joseph if they would have run into the streets and said that an angel appeared and told them that she would be the virgin mother of God's son? They would have stoned them and said they were crazy. People are still the same way even with evidence to prove otherwise.
I have lived in several houses that were also occupied by ghost and other entities, some good, some bad. Dead relatives have come to me when they felt I needed them. I was surrounded by Angels, protecting me from a demon attack I was experiencing. If you open your self up to this then you open yourself up to the good, the bad, and the really ugly.

As a Christian I was taught that our spirits are eternal. So yes, I believe in spirits on differing levels. There are angels and demons, loved ones, as well as those whose spirits are not at rest for a variety of reasons. There are benevolent and malevolent spirits just as there is good and evil in this world.
Remain open to all possibilities. I also urge that you be careful not to open doorways that are difficult to close once opened in regards to the spiritual realm.

Ive been to key west florida, one of the most active areas of spiritual activities in America, Ive seen many orbs and a few ghosts there. Its weird that christians are taught that ghosts either dont exist or are evil, I guess the truth leaks out eventually.

there are ghosts and spirits out there...even the bible mentions them. I can understand though why it would be hard to believe in them especially since we are taught that all souls go to heaven or hell...so how does a soul wind up staying here on earth right?? I have had something happen at my house several times while growing up.. it was winter, and my mom and her friend who was helpping mom watch me after my parents divorce, and they were up watching scary movies on tv, then around 2 am there was this loud knock on the door..it sounded like someone trying to break in using a sledge hammer. I woke up crying ( I was 4 yrs old) and my mom looked outside. it was snowing outside, but there were no footprints in the snow, or on the porch. it happened every night till my grandfather died in 1986. it happened a few more times since then but never as severe. my mom had gotten some holy oil from our church, and went around, blessing the entire house, and the yard...we haven't had anything happen since then.

When i was a teenager we lived in a house, one night when i was the only one home at about 3am I heard a womens voice in a laughing tone ask me if i was scared there was no tv on or radio or anything else around that could explain it ,weeks later i found out that years before we lived there a women died with her unborn child when the furnace blew up,Other times while living there we would wake up in the middle of the nite to hear childrens laughter,and our cat would literly climb the walls and refuse to stay indoors when she had been a indoor house cat previous to living there

The other day i was round at afriends house and we started messing about with tarrot cads n freaky stuff like that, then i started to feel other people in the room, and they were telling me thongs about themselves anyway cut a long story short turns out the spirits in the room were actually family of my friends, i was telling her things about her family that only they and she would have known there was no possible way i could have known, weird huh!!

that is exactly why i am not Christian
my experiences so far are too great to say there are no spirits or ghosts

As a Christian you were taught that? Interesting. There is demonic possession noted all through the bible, especially the gospels. Everywhere Jesus went he was driving them out.
One has to wonder how that can be ignored by a Christian.

There are no ghost,but spirits that come from the devil. We as christians,has a thought that comes to us that is not of God must rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
