[im only 15]

ill be really tired,
& i just lay there thinking about stuff, not even important stuff all night.


... then i dont get enough sleep & then next night the same thing happens all over again.

..why is this?
&
..what should i do?

Get a journal/Try writing things down thats on your mind -before you lay down for sleep.
Then maybe you will be able to let go of all those things and rest!

It sounds like you have trouble turning your mind and your thoughts off so you can relax enough to fall asleep. Someone mentioned a journal and this is a great idea. My wife does that when she has trouble relaxing. Writing down all the stuff that's on your mind before you go to bed has really seemed to help her. It gets all of those things out of your head and on paper so you can clear your mind. Also, you may want to try having a cup of warm milk which is a natural sedative. If it continues you may want to try an over the counter sleep aid that is non habit forming but will help you relax enough to drift off. If all else fails, talk to your family Dr about this because lack of sleep can cause other health problems down the road. Good luck.

Well, here are some problems and solutions that occur most often:

1.) Do you have problems at school or home? If so, try and fix them.
2.) Clear your mind. If you have tasks on your mind, then complete those tasks and maybe you'll sleep and night.
3.) What 'important stuff' do you have in mind? {This is mostly related to number 2.}

sounds like yu have a full plate you need to relax listen to some music or watch some tv
