i would say if your reason for not paying the ticket is that they wrote your DOB down wrong, then that's not really a good reason, just pay it.

I think the question would be how did you get the ticket. In my State if you get a ticket by mail you don't have to pay it unless you are officially served in person. Most time the police have better things to do than go to your house for a traffic ticket. I'd check the laws in your State/City. If you already got served the ticket in person I don't believe you can get away with not paying it. If everything else is correct then I believe at any reasonable person would assume that it was a typo and therefore their ticket. The law generally follows what would any reasonable person say.

Maybe but they would find out sooner or later. You should pay for ur ticket because if u don't u are just going to collect a lot fees on it. Lets say that ur ticket is 50 dollars and u had received it two days ago and they said that u have a week or so to pay for it. Then u just say OK then two weeks went by then u know two months went by. Then u will receive another one in the mail for 110 dollars and so on.... So what ever u do make sure u pay for it and get cleared up.......

If you don't pay it now you won't be able to renew your license plates (in Ontario anyway) until you've paid the fine.

If you want to fight paying the ticket follow the instructions on the ticket and go to court.

If you were parked illegally though I don't see what your birthdate has to do with it. Take your lumps and take responsibility and pay the fine.

You better just pay the ticket before you get into further trouble.

Take responsibility for your actions and pay the fine. If you want to tie up the legal system for such a stupid thing fight it in court. You will end up paying the fine in the end and may end up paying court costs as well.

They'll notice. If you fail to pay it or respond to the court date, the court will issue a warrant for your arrest.
