I am 5'11 and everytime I meet a cute tall boy he always seems to pick the 5'2 girl....All the good tall guys are being stolen from us tall girls and leaving us with guys shorter than us! haha but it is true! Why is it that very few guys that are tall want a girl that is tall as well...not taller but tall as in 5'9 to 6'0. I personally think its a guy ego thing and they want the "power" but I dont know. please tall guys tell me why! lol

I wish those tall guys would leave the 5'2" girls to us average guys. But to answer your question . . . lots of guys get really creeped out by tall girls. It makes us feel small and weak, and even more vulnerable than we are already. Short girls, on the other hand, make us feel more manly and safe. I think people should be reasonable about it though. The average height difference between men and women is something like 3" or 5" or so. When a tall guy dates a girl a foot shorter than him, things get that much tougher and more uncomfortable for average guys and tall girls like you. Good night!

My brother is like that I don't know why they do it though because I'm 5'9 he's 6'6 i just think he like shorter girls because he likes to feel like he's in control. Good Luck. Peace and Blessings

It's so bizard, but it's true. I notice the guys that like me are more in the 6'2-6'5 range, but if you are self-confident and hot, guys will like you. Trust me, just show off your legs (which guys loove ..and short girls like me don't have them) and walk like you are Katie Holmes or some other hot girl

Im not a tall guy but one of those 5'1 girls that seem to bug you so much ! I think guys like to feel protective over their females and thats hard to do when you tower over them. They probably prefer smaller, dainty girls but not all of them do ... good luck.

maybe its because of our size?Girl I have been there so what did I do to get my 6 ft 5 boyfreind? I focused hard on being feminine.I cant be cute and tiny but I can be be big and beautiful.I grow my hair long,and he loves it.I wear pink almost every other day.I try to walk gracefully and talk softly.Always be smiling even when your down just think about funny stuff and it will shine through.I worked hard to develop a real true girly grin and I am told I have an amazing laugh.Just pratice in the mirror being adorable and men wont even see your size.Exercize, eat right, Dont get too chubby and men of all sizes will love you.Maybe the tall guys you liked just werent the right ones for you. Focus on glowing inside and out.They will come.

it is an ego thing im like about 5'10 (im 15) and i like girls who are about 5'3 because i like shorties...it makes me feel tall

I don't mean to make you feel bad but from what I hear from men, they think that the smaller girls are cuter because they have smaller hands and feet.
