You're right in the range for your ideal weight, but everyone's body frame is different. If you have a small frame, a little extra weight will show more obviously than on someone with a larger frame.

The problem could also be that you lack muscle tone or that you have a couple problem areas--common problem areas for otherwise thin people are the belly and inner thighs. Try doing some exercises to improve muscle tone (see the second link in my sources).

A ThighMaster is excellent for the inner thigh, as it exercises a muscle that is not normally exercised at all (the adductor muscle). For the belly, you're stuck doing sit-ups and crunches.

Good luck!

you weight /height are perfectly normal. you probaly just need some toning. if you have excess skin or flab say on your arms or legs, toning will do wonders to make you look like you are losing weight. Go to walmart or target and buy some small size weights 5-15 pounds that are hand held and get on the internet to look for good excersises to tone up. also a stability ball also found at walmart for around 10 buck, will come with a list of excersises that is used to tone and strengthen. pilates and yoga are also good and will help you loose any extra fat, and tone your muscles

How old are you? Your weight sounds fine for how tall you are! Don't worry about the number on the scale. Just make sure you are eating things that are good for you and excercising whether it's playing sports or taking a class. There is no ideal weight because everyone's body frame and bone structure is different! Good luck!

If you want to look more toned you should exercise, that will make your body look more muscular. However, muscles weigh more than fat so you may gain a few extra pounds even if you cannot tell by the way your body looks. Personally though I think your weight seems fine for your height.

At that weight, what you'll probably should be doing is toning up using resistance and weight training. You are well within your ideal weight range. If you still feel you need to lose some fat, the lowest you should go for your height is around 115lbs.

A good site for exercise tips is http://www.ivillage.com, if you need to find moves to firm up specific areas.

That weight is perfectly fine! You just need to tone up a bit. Try joining a gym (like Curves, if you're a woman) or www.sparkpeople.com for help.

Just search your BMI (Body mass index) in a search. It will calculate your ideal hieght/ weight ratio and tell you if you are where you are supposed to be or if you are not.

according to your body mass index you are at your perfect weight, but i just read if you are trying to be healthy, focus mainly on your abdomen-since all your important internal organs are located centrally, keeping the fat out of that region is most important
