Me and my sister have a tattoo on our tummys.
She has a chinese simbol right side of her bellybutton.
Anyways my sister got pregnant and because her tattoo is 2 sizes bigger than mine i thought hers is going to look stupid..yes it streched alot and she was 112lb before she go pregnant but after the birth her tattoo went back to the normal size when she got it done, i dont know if thats just her luck or if she lost the weight so it went back.
Also for my opinion it doesnt matter what its going to look like when your older because its not like your going to be running around in low cut tops ect. Tattoo's are something that will remind u about your past if you get the right one.

All inks are equally safe as long as the artist is using a clean needle. There usually aren't any skin tests. If this is just a fear about it going wrong, just make sure you research your artist. If this is you worrying about it being worth it, don't go through with it. A tattoo should be something that means a lot to you and you want to have done. The pain you feel is all dependent on your pain tolerance. Personally, all of my tattoos have hurt really bad (lower back and foot). You're experience may be different. Just remember, DON'T get a tattoo unless it is something you want on you forever. Good Luck

Tattoos in that area are probably about a 2 on the pain scale (1 to 10). Just don't have any children in the near future....it WILL stretch. Also, don't listen to those who say "tattoos are disgusting"....you didn't ask if people liked tattoos did you? I didn't think so. Get something that is beautiful to you or expresses your views on life. Good luck.

I have several tat's none in the particular area you are asking about but I do have one on my pelvic bone (just alittle farther down then the one you want) With my own experiences I want to share with you why I don't think your lower tummy would be a good spot for a tat. When I got mine I was thin and young and it looked great. 8 years later I have gained some weight and had a child, both of these things have left my stomach (lower tummy specifically) with sagging skin and stretch marks. My tat is no longer pretty because of my body changes. I am not saying dont get a tat, I just wanted to share my story so maybe you will think twice about where you want it.
good luck. :)

Its not a tickle but its not a pain.I have many tattoos. The one that hurt the worst was the one on my foot.I have another in between my breasts, one on my lower back, one on each shoulder, one on my ankle, and one where your getting yours, several other not going to be mentioned.Im going to get a sleeve soon.I promise that as long as you want the tattoo, you can deal with the little bit of pain.I also have my nipples pierced,my nose and my tounge web.Take me to the Dr. for a shot,HUH I cry like a big baby.
You will be fine! ♥ -Jilliane

Around that area it will probably burn and hurt pretty good. Thats part of the appeal of tattoos the pain of getting them. If you really want one then be prepared, and make sure you get one you really want.

It will definitely be uncomfortable! I agree with the others, that is not a good place for a tattoo. Sorry!

I have a tat and mine is on my ankle I was told that it would hurt really bad I think it also depends on your pain tolerance. I don't think it would hurt right there. You have to be ready when you get one. It also depends on who is doing it, if they have a heavy hand or gentle one
Good luck

hell yes it hurts but know this if you get one in that area and you one day happen to be pregnant know that it will strech out and look deformed and the color will fade you may want to wait until you are done with kids before you get one in that area you should get something on you ankle or maybe just above your butt crack where it wont hurt as much or become deformed due to a pregnancy
