my mother is trying to learn a few extra things in english but i cant help so much (because i dont know some of the words)....so is there any website or anything i can download that she can use to translate those words from english to another language (in HER case spanish)

Try buying a dictionary because you can't carry a computer around all day. BOOKS are portable and require no electricity. I still have my Spanish, French, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Turkish dictionaries that I used while in the Navy and recently for my job.
If you still insist on using the computer, do a google search on ENGLISH/SPANISH/ENGLISH TRANSLATION.

There's quite a good online dictionary for English-Spanish used by me and many of my colleagues. You can only input one word at a time, but at least it doesn't just give you one translation, but several if necessary, so you can choose the best fit. I hope it helps! Link below.

PS Babelfish is OK for fun or if you have a pretty good idea of the target language - otherwise, forget it!
