Maybe you enjoy the weekends a little too much. There is no rule that says you can't hit the books on Saturday or Sunday. Do that for a while, at least until you pick up those grades. If you worry about losing touch with friends, remember that nobody will hang out with you if you're the loser who couldn't keep his grades high enough to pass to the next grade. Leave the fun alone for a while and do what a student should do: study, hey, maybe friends could help if you tell them your problem. And you're right, gym is the easiest class, maybe you could join a specific sport that you like, like tennis, basketball, or football, it'll count as gym class and will keep you out of playing stupid dodgeball for a whole semester.

Don't worry about it. We all get not-so-good grades once in awhile. And ENJOY the weekend! (Even though it's only two days.)

When you are an adult you'll realize the grades you made in high school really aren't that important anyway. It's what you major in college or more importantly, your work ethic and where you work.
