You would think they could. I know years ago I got a small percentage knocked off a medical bill but it was almost un-heard of that you weren't responsible for something......I don't care if they left you just owing a hundered.....you had to be responsible for something. I was WAY below poverty level and they wanted every scrap of paper and you couldn't have a savings account, life insurance policy, IRA, savings bonds, anything of value that could be pawned........There literally wasn't anything that they didn't require and it's a violation of privacy now to ask for a social security card or to be a citizen? I mean they wanted like 3 years of tax return papers and everything else on me.

We have medicare for our seniors and there are Dr's who are refusing medicare patients. I don't get it.

u must be really low income to get it..and own less than $1000 in banking, stocks, bonds, ins. policies for cash, etc.. There is a program called "spend down".. If u have a lot of medical bills from getting suddenly sick (cancer or surgery).. sometimes u can get temp. medicaid to pay those bills..there again u have to be low income. I guess if we moved to Mexico for 3 months and then came here illegally that would not be a problem...

Why could you ask approximately Medicaid for low earnings human beings for those living in u . s . of america once you have a mind-blowing wellbeing care device in Canada?. That isn't sensible. Medicaid is paid for the two through each and every state and the federal government and is a welfare earnings. you should stay interior the U. S. to get it.

You seem to think illegal immigrants are all getting some sort of Medicaid...there are no real statistics on that. Whatever you've seen is nothing more than wild guesses. People are being fooled into thinking that cutting social assistance programs will simply cut out those who "don't deserve it". The fact is that people that both pay taxes and are deserving(often temporarily, by no fault of their own) will have less access to programs as well.

Using the "illegal immigrant" argument is nothing more than a smokescreen. In fact, illegals are encouraged by especially large corporations and raids like the Swift raid are done simply for appearance sake. They don't want you or anyone else to get any kind of aid. (that would be "socialist).

What do you mean "not the illegals"? What does that have to do with anything?

Medicaid is bankrolled by the federal government but administered by the states, so the requirement for Medicaid coverage varies from state to state. I'm not sure if this answers your question because I don't really understand your question.

"Illegals" can not get medicaid. You have to be a US citizen or legal resident.

And, the income requirements are so wickedly low to get Medicaid that you should be really glad that you can't get it. ($800.00 income per month)

The majority who don't qualify, don't qualify because they make too much money or own too much property to meet the income requirement for qualification.
