Im a 40 DD myself. One thing you have to know about bigger busted women you cant just get us any kind of bra. Get her a few from JC Pennys in any mall near you. Do not get bras with wire underneath. The wires push up against our lungs at it hurts . Get bras with cushion material in the straps cause you dont want her strap cutting into her shoulder and leaving dark line indentions. Shes a 48DD get her a 44 DD bra that has 3 hook adjustments in the back. she can wear it on the first hook till she loses more weight then she can keep adjusting the hooks back.

I would look in your local phone book and find a bra specialty shop. Usually the ladies that work in those shops can give you all the advice that you need to find her something that will work and is also cuter than some of the other bras you find at department stores. Good luck...

it depends on how fast she is losing weight. Experts say that even losing 5 pounds can make a difference in what bra size to wear. So talk to your fiance to see how fast she is progressing and what she thinks!

Don't buy her one on your own. ALL bras fit EVERY woman different and you are more than likely going find more wrong fits than right fits. It's a nice thought but you're better off giving her a Victoria's secret gift card.

Lane Bryant in the mall has excellent bras and is owned by the same company as Victoria's Secret who sells that magnificent FULL COVERAGE bra. Please keep positively supporting her*. You seem like a sweet one.

* no pun intended

no underwires; wide padded shoulder straps; supportive. try a playtex 18-hour bra, or go to a macy's or penney's and ask to have a bra fitter work with her.

best wishes,

i would suggest a sports bra. there is no sense in buying her anything else because most women lose breast while losing weight.
